CLASSICAL ARABIC (QUR`AN) READING AND WRITING: LEVEL FIVE (Ages 3-6 & 7-11)
The final, longest and most important of the five levels of the program. This level, unique in its capacity and success rate, is developed to assist students to complete their memorization of the entire Qur`an, in under two years. To develop basic memorization skills, the students will gradually begin by memorizing small segments of the Qur`an, advancing from a mere 1/4 page segment per week, to one page segments progressing to a maximum of ten pages per week after the first year. A minimum daily commitment of one hour* is a crucial requirement to ensure the success of this program.
COURSE OVERVIEW:
Stage One: Memorization The memorization of the Qur`an, will begin from the first chapter and progress chapter by chapter until the completion of the book. Important verses, such as the verses of prostration (Sajdah) will be outlined, including other important matters relating to correct stopping, pausing and particular Tajwid rules.
Stage Two: Revision Periodic revisions will be scheduled to ensure a high quality of memorization and superior pronunciation and presentation of the student's recitation.
Stage Three: Ijazah Upon completion of the final revision of the entire Qur`an, the student will then be extensively tested by a master of scriptural recitation, with a chance of attaining a highly honorable Ijazah or religious certification and permission to transfer knowledge.
Study Time Required: Minimum of 1.5 hours of quality practice per day.
Maximum: A maximum of ten students will be enrolled into each class to ensure more one-on-one attention for the students to attain maximum potential.

* At the beginning of the program, one and a half hours per day will be the basic minimum required, based on the average student. Some students may require more time. As the program progresses, the daily commitment time will be increased based on the need of each particular student. Students will be expected to put in twice as much time during weekends to maintain constant revision of the memorized materials. Please note that children wishing to
memorize the entire Qur`an in a period of two years or less are
required to dedicate a minimum of three hours daily.
