CLASSICAL ARABIC (QUR`AN) READING AND WRITING: LEVEL FOUR(Ages 3-6 & 7-11)
Developed for students with good reading skills, requiring to perfect their recitation of the Qur`an and its intricate rules of elocution. Specially selected Qur`anic passages will be extensively studied with special emphasis on the sacred rules of Tajwid.
COURSE OVERVIEW:
Stage One: Revision A thorough review of materials taught in Level Three will ensure the student's complete comprehension of intermediate principles of the written language.
Stage Two: Surah Al-Fatihah As the first and most important chapter of the Islamic Scripture, proper pronunciation and understanding of the Tajwid rules therein will be completely developed.
Stage Three: Other Verses Various verses, from variant parts of the Qur`an, containing diverse patterns and themes will be read to ensure complete fluency of Qur`anic recitation.
Study Time Required: Minimum of one hour of quality practice per day.
Maximum:
A maximum of ten students will be enrolled into each class to ensure
more one-on-one attention for the students to attain maximum potential.

It should be noted that children develop mentally at variant levels, therefore in cases where a young child is still developing their learning skills, they may be required to take this level twice before they are able to progress to the fourth level. This will also be the case in children who do not put in the minimum practice time of one hour daily. Please note that children wishing to memorize the entire Qur`an in a period of two years or less. are required to dedicate a minimum of three hours daily.
