Program Description Named in honor of one of the greatest scholars of Tajwid, Imam Abi 'Amr Ad-Dani, and developed by Cordova Academy’s instructors over the course of fifteen years, the Children’s Intensive Qur`anic Program is a unique program in many ways. It is designed to teach children with zero knowledge of Classical Arabic to read Classical Arabic with ease, to recite the Qur`an with fluency and proper pronunciation according to the rules of Tajwid, and finally, to complete the memorization of the Qur`an.The Children’s Intensive Qur`anic Program is completed in four stages. The first three stages last three months each, and the final stage of memorization of the Qur`an will usually take one-and-a-half to two years to complete. The required commitment for students is mandatory class attendance for one hour a week (currently on Saturday mornings). In addition, during the week, students must commit at least one hour a day for study and review. Students and parents who are dedicated to following the program should expect to complete the program within two to three years.

Prerequisites None. This program is intended for children with no previous knowledge of the Arabic language, with exception to Levels 2-4, placement testing would be required.Note however that the minimum age for children enrolled in this course is three years of age.
